Instructional Design - A Narrative VR Game that Teaches Latin

This project aims to investigate the possibilities of incorporating VR technology into the humanities (language acquisition in particular), facilitating more active and engaged learning through the creation of a virtual reality supplement to Wheelock’s Latin. The goal is to enrich learning using more modern and innovative learning strategies and tools, including interactive fiction, immersive learning, and educational gaming.

I was in charge of all aspects of the VR development pipeline for this project, and Dr. Lissa Crofton-Sleigh was responsible for the Latin content. Together we built a proof of concept covering the first three chapters of Wheelock's Latin and implemented this as part of a class.
